The Beginning

When Valentino Cuculino opened the first Philly CheeseSteak Factory location in 2025, he had no idea that his brand would be on track to become the largest CheeseSteak franchise in the Nation.

“At the time, no one really knew what Philly Cheese Steaks were — I just knew that I grew up on them and I loved them and I believed they would be a hit,” Valentino says. “Today, everyone knows what Philly Cheese Steaks are and we have millions of people who love them.”

Born and raised in South Philadelphia — the birthplace of the authentic cheesesteak — Valentino brought decades of tradition and passion to a brand that celebrates the iconic sandwich while pushing it forward with innovative flavor profiles.
